Nowabad (Persian: نواباد)[a] is a village in Taqanak Rural District[b] of the Central District in Shahrekord County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran.

Ethnicity

The village is populated by Persians.[5][6]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 699 in 191 households.[7] The following census in 2011 counted 712 people in 204 households.[8] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 682 people in 210 households.[2]
