Beach-Bound Fashionista[edit]
Korwa manages to finish all of her swimsuit orders but forgets that she promised (Captain) and the others she would go to Auguste with them for summer vacation. While thinking of the types of stories that await her on the beach, she begins making a swimsuit all her own.
Korwa not in crew
Korwa is a top-notch fashion designer who takes her work seriously.
But she also has a habit of observing others to see how their stories play out.
She gets to know (Captain) and company when they take on her assignment to transport her dresses.
Korwa: If I stick with you guys, I think I can make a lot of interesting stories.
Korwa: Let me tag along. I'll pay, of course.
Korwa: Let me rent a room on the airship, okay? I've got some savings I can use.
Taking a keen interest in (Captain)'s story, Korwa decides to join the crew in their journey.
Continue 1Some time passes after Korwa's enlistment into the crew.
With summer fast approaching, Korwa's studio is flooded with swimsuit orders galore.
Korwa: Hm, for this customer I only need to handle the design. I can have someone else do the sewing.
Korwa: For this one I'll have to stitch in the embroidery myself to make it really stand out.
Korwa: Oh, and I'll need to say hello to this last customer in person... Hmm, might have to pay a visit to this nearby island...
Vyrn: Korwa's been super busy lately!
Lyria: Yeah, she said something about tons of swimsuit orders coming in. The clothing Korwa makes is really nice after all!
Lyria: I just hope she'll be able to handle all that work...
Korwa forges ahead with her clothing design despite (Captain) and Lyria's worries.
A few days before summer, Korwa finally completes filling all her orders.
Korwa: Phew... I'm. Totally. Beat!
Vyrn: You okay, Korwa? You look like you could seriously use a breather.
Lyria: Here, Korwa. I made some tea for you—should make you feel better.
Korwa: Thanks, Lyria...
Korwa: Glug... Ahhh, much better...
Korwa: (Captain)... I'm gonna take a short nap... Don't worry about my dinner. You guys go ahead and eat.
Korwa: All that's left is for me to pass out on the bed until kingdom come.
Korwa hands the cup to Lyria and stumbles back to her own room.
(Captain) and the others trade glances while seeing Korwa to her room.
Hours later Korwa reemerges.
Korwa: Yawn... Ahhh! I'm feeling great! I haven't slept so well in ages!
Lyria: I hope you're better now, Korwa. I'm sure your customers will love those swimsuits!
Korwa: You sure know how to talk me up, Lyria. You're right though; customer satisfaction comes first! Designing clothes that simply suit my personal tastes would be pointless!
Korwa: Doesn't matter how fashionable the clothing is. If the people wearing it aren't fans of the design, they might as well be wearing something else.
Vyrn: You're sounding really pumped about all this, Korwa. Much more so than usual.
Korwa: You bet I'm pumped! I worked my butt off getting those swimsuits in order, and now I'm free at last!
Lyria: Ah! Speaking of swimsuits, is yours ready, Korwa?
Korwa: Huh? My swimsuit? Why do you ask?
Vyrn: Hey, didn't we talk about this a while back? About how we'd chill on the beaches of Auguste when summer hits?
Korwa: I forgot all about it...
Vyrn: Guess it can't be helped considering how busy you've been.
Lyria: Come play with us in Auguste! It'll be fun, Korwa!
Korwa: I'm not so brusque as to refuse an invitation to a fun summer bash in Auguste! I'm sure it'll be a blast with you guys.
Korwa: I'll just have to get my swimsuit in order. Time to rev myself up for this one last job before we hit those beaches!
Korwa: Whoo!
Lyria: Whoo!
Vyrn: R-right... Just be sure to take it easy.
(Captain) expresses concern over Korwa's exceptionally chipper mood.
(Captain) checks in on her that night while she makes her swimsuit.
Korwa: Hm? Ah, (Captain), it's you.

Korwa: Nngh!
Korwa: I thought I was out of ideas after coming up with so many for the customers, but this is my swimsuit we're talking here...
Korwa: It's been so long since I last visited the Auguste Isles. Really appreciate the invite, (Captain).
Korwa: Hehe, I wonder what kind of stories await me there. Surely there'll be more than a few happy endings to see!
(Captain) gladly engages the lively Korwa in conversation.
Korwa: Hm? A happy ending for myself?
Korwa: Hmm, well, I'm already having so much fun right now... A happy ending for me...
Korwa chews on the thought, but she is unable to think of something fitting.
Days later the crew lands on the sandy, white beaches of Auguste.
Vyrn: Vast, blue skies! Crisp, blue ocean! Yeah! Summer's finally here!
Lyria: Uh-huh! I'm feeling excited just staring out into the sea!
Korwa: Let's not stop at staring now! We've got to enjoy ourselves to the fullest now that we're here!
Lyria: Wow! You look incredible in that swimsuit, Korwa!
Korwa: Getting it just right wasn't easy though. Almost didn't finish in time.
Korwa: But it's all good now! Whoo, let the fun times roll!
Vyrn: I'm with you all the way, Korwa!
Vyrn: Let's get down there and party, (Captain)!
And so begins a fun romp on the beaches of Auguste.
(Captain), Korwa, and the others are bound to make the most of this summer.
Finding Happily Ever After[edit]
While on the beaches of Auguste, Heles notices a disappointed look on Korwa's face. Some prodding reveals that Korwa is frustrated about not having her own happy ending yet. She demands that they begin having fun, prompting Lyria to suggest they try shaved ice together.
(Captain) and company are out on the beaches of Auguste for summer vacation.
While everyone is off enjoying themselves, Korwa stares pensively at the shoreline from under a parasol.
Korwa: Hmm...
The sun-drenched beaches during vacation season provide the perfect occasion for people to meet and for beautiful stories to happen.
Korwa: Don't know why, but I just can't get into this... Hmm...
Heles: You okay, Korwa? What's with the long face?
Korwa: Ah, Your Highness... Erm, I mean Heles—that's what I should call you, right?
Heles: Please be at ease and pay no heed to my former standing.
Heles: We've come to Auguste for a good time. Best to let loose and relax.
Any version of Heles is a crew member
Heles: We are allies belonging to the same crew after all.
Heles: So? Is something the matter? I'd be more than glad to hear you out if you'd please.

Heles: So? Is something the matter? I'd be more than glad to hear you out if you'd please.

Korwa: (Captain) asked me about my own happy ending, and well, I can't get it out of my head.
Heles: A happy ending for you, is it? I believe there is no easy answer to that. You would first have to define what you mean by end.
Korwa: That's exactly it! I mean, I've already accomplished my dream of becoming a fashion designer...
After a refreshing dip in the waters, (Captain) and the others return to find a wistful Korwa.
Lyria: Ah! So this is where you two were!
Vyrn: The sea feels great!
Vyrn: Why don't you two go for a swim too...
Vyrn: Erm, I guess you're not in the mood?
Vyrn: You all right, Korwa? It sure feels strange to see you lookin' like a sad panda when you're usually such a happy clam!
(Captain), too, gives the downcast Korwa a worried look.
Lyria: Did something happen?
Korwa: ...
Korwa: Gah! Enough already!
Lyria: Huh?
Korwa: Thinking about a happy ending doesn't make me happy at all!
Korwa: This is supposed to be a vacation! At a resort! We should be filled to the brim with happiness! But I'm not feeling anything! Am I making any sense, Heles?
Heles: Y-yes... I do see what you mean.
Korwa: Aaanyway! I need some fun in my life! Right here and now!
Korwa: Okay, Lyria! Show me something fun!
Lyria: Um... something fun?
Lyria: Oh, I know! How about we eat some shaved ice together!
Vyrn: Yum, that sounds good! All that swimmin' made me thirsty!
Korwa: All right! Shaved ice it is! Let's go get some!
Korwa flies off to the beach house with (Captain) and company trying to keep up with her.
Finding Happily Ever After: Scene 2[edit]
(Captain) and company arrive at the beach house for their favorite flavors of shaved ice. Their next fun activity is watermelon smashing—but a crab shows up to thwart their plans.
Having arrived at the beach house, each member of the crew orders their preferred flavor of shaved ice.
Korwa: Mm! It's so cold and yummy! I'll take a scorching summer day anytime if it means we get to have one of these!
Lyria: ...
Lyria: Huh? (Captain), your tongue is green!
Vyrn: Haha, it's dyed the color of the syrup!
Heles: Ngh... My head hurts...
Lyria: Yikes! Are you okay, Heles? Is that brain freeze you're feeling?
Heles: Yes... What a surprise. Is it normal to feel such a symptom from eating shaved ice?
Korwa: Hm, I guess that's likely to happen if you try to eat it real fast. I wonder why though.
Vyrn: Yep, it's a total mystery, that one!
Vyrn: Brrr, I'm feelin' it too!
Korwa's gloomy expression naturally turns into a smile as they gather around eating shaved ice.
Korwa: This is getting fun! What's next on today's joyride?
Korwa: Any ideas, Heles?
Heles: Well... There is one thing I'm curious about.
Heles: I saw many groups of people smashing watermelons down by the shore. I wonder what that's for.
Lyria: Oh! I know all about that!
Vyrn: It started out as a religious ceremony in Jin's hometown to ward off the summer heat.
Korwa: Yeah? This is the first I've heard of it.
Heles: I see... So even something as peculiar as putting on a blindfold and smashing watermelons can have meaning behind it.
Vyrn: Uh-huh! It's pretty fun too! Why don't we try it?
Korwa: Nice idea! Let's go, (Captain)!
The crew buys a watermelon and heads to the shore with it.
Korwa: Hmm... Tying a blindfold by myself is harder than I thought.
Heles: Here, I'll tie the back end for you.
Korwa: Thanks! So I just spin around in place after it's on?
Vyrn: Yep! And then you follow our instructions for the smash!
Lyria: Watch your step!
Lyria: Here's the stick you'll need to smash the watermelon!

Finding Happily Ever After: Scene 3[edit]
The crew get the watermelon back from the crab and smash it, leading to an impromptu beach feast. But suddenly a casanova appears and tries his best line on Korwa, but it fails miserably. After he leaves, Korwa teasingly tests (Captain)'s suaveness.
Having successfully retrieved their prized possession, (Captain) and company get back to the fun that is watermelon smashing.
Korwa: Yaargh!
Heles: Most splendid, Korwa!
Vyrn: You split that thing clean in half! Wow, you're a lot stronger than I thought you'd be!
Korwa: Heh! This is pretty good for stress relief.
Vyrn: Gulp...
Heles: Shall we partake in this feast of watermelon?
Heles: Here, Vyrn, this piece should be easy to chew on.
Vyrn: Thanks!
The crew enjoys the delicious feast while gazing out into the sea.
Korwa: Mm! This is refreshing in its own way, different from the shaved ice.
Lyria: That's for sure! If I could only choose one, I'm not sure which I'd pick...
Heles: Lyria, a watermelon seed has found its way to your cheek. Please hold still; I'll brush it off.
Casanova: Hey there! How ya pretty ladies doin'? Care to enjoy the rest of the day with us?
Korwa: Lame.
Casanova: Huh?
Korwa: Sucks to be you, but the way you called out to us just now was laughably pathetic. Now go away.
Casanova: Wha...
Korwa: All right, the next exciting activity's waiting on us! What next?
Having brushed off the casanova, Korwa leads the crew on a walk across the shore.
Vyrn: Hey, Korwa?
Korwa: Hm? Did you think of something fun to do?
Vyrn: I was thinking about what you said to that casanova back there.
Vyrn: What would you consider a really unique way of hitting on someone you like?
Korwa: Hm... Good question.
Korwa: Hey, (Captain)! I need you to hit on me.

Finding Happily Ever After: Scene 4[edit]
After teaching the casanovas a lesson in manners, Korwa invites them to a friendly game of beach volleyball with the crew. Once the game concludes, they bid each other farewell, and the crew goes for a rest at the beach house. Korwa reflects on her happy ending, deciding that she's already living it.
Casanova: Ngh...
Korwa: Heh! That should teach you! Now go sit in the corner and think about what you did!
Casanova: Y-yes!
Korwa: There's the boring type of flirting, and then there's the forceful type—and all I've got to say about that second one is hell no!
Korwa: No matter how you slice it, there's no way that kinda crap ever leads to a happy ending!
Heles: True... I can't imagine enjoying myself if someone forced me to come to the beach.
Korwa: Besides, if you're spending your time on that bullcrap, then you seriously need a new hobby!
Korwa: With so many people, you could be doing something more productive and fun... Like beach volleyball!
Casanova: Er... Um... Right! Of course!
Korwa: It's decided then! Let's get the equipment set up! C'mon, (Captain)!
And thus the crew plays ball with the casanovas.
Everyone has so much fun that the earlier altercation is forgotten, and all leave the beach in high spirits.
Korwa: Whew, now that was fun. I could really go for a massage now! Can't wait to go all out again tomorrow!
After receiving a most soothing massage, the crew relaxes at the beach house.
Lyria: Aah... That felt great!
Vyrn: Yeah, (Captain) especially loved it! Our captain's in dreamland from all that feel-good rubbin'!
Heles: Dreamland, you say? The daily fatigue must be wearing (Captain) thin.
Korwa: Or (Captain)'s just exhausted from having sooo much fun!
Vyrn: Ahaha! I'm sure there's a bit of that too!
Korwa: Thanks for coming along with me today, everyone.
Korwa: I'm really lucky to have friends like you guys around to cheer me up.
Lyria: Korwa...
Korwa: I realized this during the massage, but I'm completely satisfied with my work...
Korwa: And I have the best friends ever... I really couldn't ask for more.

Heles: Ah, the bliss you must feel every moment...
Vyrn: Now that's the fashion designer we know! Always love hearing your perspective, Korwa!

Korwa: Seems like they had a fight. What a shame to reach a bad ending on this beautiful sandy beach of all places.
Vyrn: Sigh... Just when we thought she was in a good mood, she's already back to worryin' about other people's stories!
Heles: Then again, that's also part of who Korwa is. All's well that ends well, I say.
Lyria: You said it, Heles! Better to see Korwa like this than to see her upset!
(Captain) wryly smiles at the sight of the story-obsessed Korwa.
At the end of the day, Korwa's cheerfulness proves infectious as always, being a great source of joy for all in the crew.
