Halloween Prince[edit]
Ange enjoys the Halloween festival, confidently sporting a cape as part of her costume. But monsters suddenly attack some women in the town, so Ange and (Captain) take the monsters on to defend the women.
(Captain) and company visit a village buzzing with the spirit of Halloween.
Ange shows up before the festive crew, clad in a dashing new outfit.
Ange: Whoa! The streets of the city really are wondrous on Halloween!
Vyrn: Yeah, you got that right... Hey! What's up with the getup, Ange?
Sierokarte: Hee-hee. You're looking more debonair than ever, Ange.
Vyrn: Siero... You into this kinda thing?
Ange: Excuse me? Who wouldn't be into this? It's the perfect costume for a Halloween festival!
Ange: Right, Siero?
Sierokarte: Of course. Besides, a handsome prince who doesn't dress for the occasion will end up looking like a mere knight.
Lyria: Wow. The hat looks especially great! You really do look like a prince!
Ange: You think so? Hee-hee. And what do you think, (Captain)?
Choose: Pretty cute!
Ange: Grrr... I'll just assume you meant handsome!
Choose: Rather handsome!
Ange: Mm-hmm! You've always been a captain with a good eye, (Captain)!

Woman's Voice: Aahh! S-someone help!
Vyrn: What the? Hey! You guys hear that?
Monster: Grrr...
Ange: That sounded like a monster! And damsels in distress! Let's go, (Captain)!
Ange dashes to the rescue, her cape tracing a magnificent arc behind her.
The crew drives back the monsters, and everyone goes back to enjoying Halloween.
Ange: M'ladies, are you all right? Have no fear, you're safe now.
Woman 1: Thank you. You saved me!
Ange: Think nothing of it! It's my duty—and my privilege—to protect fine ladies like you!
Woman 2: Oh my! You sound just like a real prince.
Ange: I should hope so! For I aspire to be a handsome prince one day!
Woman 2: Tee-hee. You're well on your way. You're already one of the most adorable princes I've seen!
Ange: Adorable? Ngh...
Woman 1: Hee-hee... Say, how would you like to be my prince?
Woman 2: Excuse me? This lovely young thing is already my prince charming! Right, my prince?
Ange: Y-y-you would recognize me as your prince?
Woman 1: Hee-hee! Of course! Your prince costume is so dashing!
Woman 2: That's right! Besides, it's Halloween! I say we have lots of fun with this cutie-pie prince!
Lyria: Wow! They sure seem to like Ange!
Sierokarte: Hee-hee. And Ange's just eating it up.
Vyrn: I dunno... To me it looks more like they're making fun of her.

Thus (Captain) and company enjoy the festival along with the enthusiastic Ange.
Prince for a Day[edit]
When Ange hears a rumor about a lady who slumbers in a tower on the outskirts of town and awaits her soul mate, she's convinced that she's the one. But when she goes to the tower with the crew, zombies stand in their way.
In a town bustling with Halloween activities, there are whispers of strange happenings.
(Captain)'s crew hears about a lady who slumbers in a tower on the outskirts of town and awaits her soul mate.
Ange: Did you hear that, (Captain)?
Ange: She could very well be waiting for me.
Ange: I must rescue her from her long slumber at once!
Vyrn: Man, I just knew this would happen.
Lyria: Ugh... Um... That tower sounds like it might be haunted.
Ange: ...?
That's funny, Lyria. You're scared of ghosts after all you've been through?

Vyrn: Well, there are plenty of ghosts and other creatures here using the Halloween festival for cover!
Vyrn: I thought you were used to it by now.
Lyria: Oh no... Y-you mean that ghost that gave us candy earlier could have been a r-real ghost?
Ange: Don't worry! I'll protect you no matter what leaps out of the shadows! Now let's go! Come on, (Captain)!
Ange heads towards the tower, convinced that she'll finally meet her soul mate, but there's more to the rumor than she thinks.
Townsfolk 1: Hmm... Those skyfarers left without hearing the whole story. I hope they'll be okay.
Townsfolk 2: Yeah... They say only the woman's ghost is still slumbering in that tower, bound to a cruel destiny.
Ange: Gulp... So my destiny lies in this tower.
Ange: Let's go, (Captain)! We can't keep a lady waiting!
Zombie: ...
Vyrn: Oh! Hey, wait! They're quiet, but there are zombies coming out of the tower!
Lyria: Nooo! Not zombies!
Ange: I won't let a few rotting hunks of meat get in the way of my destiny! Prepare yourselves!
Prince for a Day: Scene 2[edit]
Ange and company easily defeat the zombies and proceed through the tower. They soon find the lady of the tower, but all that's left of her after her long wait is a ghost, and she sets monsters on the crew to try to make Ange hers forever.
(Captain) and company defeat the zombies standing in their way and enter the tower.
Ange presses forward, convinced that she has a date with destiny.
Ange: This is the last door. It's finally time to meet the sleeping beauty.
Vyrn: Hey now, what's wrong? Are you seriously getting cold feet now that we're here?
Lyria: Um... We can go back to the village if you're scared, Ange!
Vyrn: Ha-ha! You're the one who's scared, Lyria!
Ange: Hee-hee. It would be rude to the lady if I turned back now!
Ange: It's my destiny to rescue her from her long slumber! That's what brought me to this village!
Ange: I'm opening the door now!
???: Ah... I've waited for so long...
Lyria: Eek!
???: Aren't you here to see me? How much longer will you make me wait?
Ange: Oh... Um... I apologize.
???: Now you'll need to take responsibility for disturbing my rest.
Vyrn: Wait a minute! Are you telling me this is the sleeping lady who's been waiting for her soul mate?
Vyrn: Ain't that some kinda zombie or a ghost?
Tower's Ghost: Of course. How long do you think I've been waiting in this tower?
Tower's Ghost: I think I look good, all things considered. So which of you is my soul mate? You?
Lyria: No way! (Captain)'s soul mate isn't some ghost!
Tower's Ghost: Yeah, and you don't seem like the prince charming type anyway. What about you then?
Tower's Ghost: I'm not sure about your look, but I suppose you'll do as my temporary prince.
Ange: Your... prince?
Vyrn: What are you saying, Ange? She's obviously not your soul mate!
Tower's Ghost: Yes, come to me. I'm tired of waiting... Stay with me. Forever.
Vyrn: She's a ghost haunting this tower! Don't you see that, Ange?
Ange: That doesn't mean I can just abandon her!
Ange: Try to imagine what it was like for her to wait here, her body rotting as she pined for a prince charming who never came.
Vyrn: So what? Are you just gonna do as she says?
Tower's Ghost: You can't escape. You will stay with me, my temporary prince. Forever.
Vyrn: Whoa! She set some weird monsters loose on us!
Tower's Ghost: You're mine. Forever.
Vyrn: So that's how it's gonna be! Get ready, (Captain) and Ange!
Prince for a Day: Scene 3[edit]
With her monsters defeated, the lady mourns the thought of being alone in the tower again. Ange responds by offering her some kindness sincere enough to satisfy her and free her from the tower at last.
Tower's Ghost: Ugh... I'll be forsaken in this tower once again.
Tower's Ghost: So you'll abandon me as well, my temporary prince?
Ange: My lady...
Vyrn: Hey! Don't tell me Ange's possessed by that ghost.
Lyria: I think she's fine. We have to trust her.
Tower's Ghost: Don't leave me alone! Please!
Ange: My lady, you must have been so lonely.
Ange: Even though I'm not the one you were waiting for...
Ange: If I'd known you needed help sooner...
Ange: I would never have left you to suffer this loneliness. I'm so sorry, my lady.
Tower's Ghost: My... temporary prince...
Vyrn: Look, (Captain)! Look at the ghost!
Ange's sincere feelings reach the ghost's lonely heart, and she quietly vanishes from the tower.
Ange: Sigh...
Vyrn: Hey now! What's wrong?
Vyrn: Aren't you happy? The tower's ghost seemed content. It's all settled, right?
Ange: But you heard her. She called me her temporary prince.
Ange: Even if I'd gotten here earlier, I don't think I could have saved her.
Lyria: How can you know that?
Ange: Maybe I was foolish to think I could ever become a dashing prince.
Lyria: Don't say that! Didn't you see what an effect your sincerity had on her?
Vyrn: Yeah, she left with one satisfied look on her face! I could tell too!

Thus the hour of Halloween night grows late.
Ange leaves the town to its festivities and journeys into the skies once more, confident than ever that her soul mate awaits her out there somewhere.
