The Fate Accelerated Edition (FAE) is an official version of the Fate Core rules designed for simplified play.

The Fate Accelerated Edition (FAE) is a slimmed-down version of the rules designed for quick play, introducing players to the engine, or running high-concept campaigns. FAE characters have fewer aspects and rules exceptions, and no skills; instead, they've been replaced by six universal Approaches.

How do I get it?

Fate Accelerated Edition is available as a free PDF from the Evil Hat website for pay-what-you-want including free, on the online Fate System Reference, or as a $5 book from the Evil Hat website or your friendly local gaming store or other distributors.

For more information on getting other Fate Core books, check out the Fate Core tag wiki.
