Which editor do you find best for Python development? Temporarily, I use Notepad++, it's fine except for debugging.. Thanks,

emacs, vim, notepad++, gedit, pycharm, wingide etc etc. A simple google search will help. And see this: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/81584/what-ide-to-use-for-python – zengr Oct 24 '11 at 07:54
  • @Swiss: I don't think that "rage level mad" describes best what is happening in this case. The question linked from zengr has 133 answers and has thoroughly covered this. – ypercubeᵀᴹ Oct 24 '11 at 07:58
  • Thank you. I knew there are many out there, I just wanted to get your opinion which one do you use – Matej Oct 24 '11 at 08:34

I can recommend the eclipse extension PyDev.

It supports all the features you'll need, including code debugging.
