30 something year old IT guy here, just recently started playing D&D 5e. I played "Das Schwarze Auge" as a kid making me think I have leg up on my friends. D&D really gives our group cohesion, and makes for a fun evening were everyone isn't looking at their phones. Being the all knowing arrogant prick that I am, relegated/promoted to DM after one quest.
