The Maydays is a story event.

This event is part of the annual Summer Vacation series. Listed in order of premiere:

Additionally, this event occurs after the conclusion of What Makes the Sky Blue III: 000 and contains significant story spoilers.

The new supreme primarch is
striving to ensure peace, and meanwhile
manages a small cafe on the Grandcypher.

The archangels of instruction are
settling into the rhythms of mortal life
and preparing for a day
at the beach with friends.

The fallen angel of execution is ruminating
on the meaning of life—and shelling
box after box of peanuts.

Their tales will intertwine
at the Sky Realm's greatest
beach destination this summer.

For new players

  • Complete each chapter, quest, and raid boss; each awards Crystal ×50 on first-time completion.
  • Complete the daily mission every day.
  • Purchase the 75× Half-Elixirs; they provide much more AP than is needed farm them.
  • Purchase the 100× Soul Berries.
  • Purchase as many Premium Draw Tickets as you can. There are 3 in total.
  • Purchase Damascus Crystals as they are a good long-term investment given their scarcity outside of events. Obtaining all three is recommended if AP/Elixir consumption is not a concern.
  • Purchase Arcapoints as they are a good investment due to the limited amount of times Arcarum can be run. Obtaining all 30 is recommended if AP and EP consumption is not a concern. Note that this requires unlocking Arcarum: The World Beyond before it can be purchased.
  • Purchase Coronation Rings and Lineage Rings if AP and EP consumption is not a concern.
  • Earn trophies for additional Crystals.

Clear the mission each day to get loot! A new daily mission begins every day at 5 a.m. (JST). Mission rewards include Crystal ×50. Blue Sky Crystal ×1 is a reward on the last day the event.

A Sunny Strategy

Sandalphon refuses to shed his armor, but Vyrn and Lyria know just what to do. Help them wear down the primarch's resistance so everyone can enjoy some summer fun in the sun!

Save charge attack until both the MC and Lyria have 100% charge bar. Use one of Lyria's skills each turn so that she gains charge bar. When both characters have enough charge bar, toggle on charge attack. Then use all of the MC's skills before pressing attack.

It is used to signal a life-threatening emergency primarily by aviators and mariners, but in some countries local organizations such as firefighters, police forces, and transportation organizations also use the term.
  • The title card and guide panels resemble promotional material for the 1975 movie Jaws.
  • The plot of this event is a parody of American summer horror/thriller movies that depict man-eating sea creatures as the antagonist.
  • After completing chapter 3, the title card and event banner changes to display "The Maydays 2". After completing the ending, they change to display "The Maydays 3".
    • This lampoons the tendency for sequels to be produced due to the success of previous films in a franchise.
