Istoric

Statul Nebraska [2] a fost admis în Uniune la 1 martie 1867 ca cel de-al treizecișișaptelea (al 37-lea) stat al său.[3]

  • Comitatul Jackson, (1855 - 1856), format din teritoriu ne-organizat și încorporat parțial în 1856 comitatului Fillmore și parțial în teritoriu neorganizat
  • Comitatul Johnson, (1855 - 1856), format din teritoriu ne-organizat și apoi re-dizolvat în teritoriu neorganizat
  • Comitatul Jones (1855 - 1856), format din teritoriu ne-organizat și încorporat în 1856 comitatului Jefferson
  • Comitatul Loup, (1855 - 1856), format din comitatul Burt și teritoriu ne-organizat și apoi inclus în comitatele Madison, Monroe și Platte
  • Comitatele Grant, Harrison, Jackson, Lynn, Monroe și Taylor sunt menționate în documente ale anilor 1870, dar nu există deocamdată nicio dovadă a existenței acestora.
