Zalian Rural District (Persian: دهستان زاليان) is in Zalian District of Shazand County,[a] Markazi province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Deh-e Kaid.[4]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 2,911 in 771 households.[5] There were 2,408 inhabitants in 754 households at the following census of 2011.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 1,753 in 638 households. The most populous of its 23 villages was Zalian, with 444 people.[2]
