The Governorates of Palestine (Arabic: محافظات فلسطين; muhafazat filastin) are the administrative divisions of the Palestine. After the signing of the Oslo Accords, the Israeli-occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip were divided into 16 governorates under the jurisdiction of the Palestinian National Authority.[1][2] They are divided in turn into various municipalities.
