Getting delimitMate to yield tex-quotes

Question

Typing ` with delimitMate gives ``. But in tex files, it should produce `' . Can it be told to do so?

PS. I found that this is easy with AutoPairs: let g:AutoPairs={'`': "'", '"': '"', '{': '}', '''': '''', '(': ')', '[': ']'}
