My research laboratory collects and analyzes data from human subjects (clinical and population studies) to characterize early metabolic dysregulation and the risk factors for type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease. With the collaborative guidance from experts in biostatistics and epidemiology, we conduct mathematical analysis and modeling using statistical and machine-learning tools.
