I am Senior Research Associate at Lancaster University, UK. I hold a Bachelor's in Computer Science, a Master’s in Advanced Software Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Natural Language Processing (NLP).

I am interested in methods and techniques that support NLP for low-resource, especially African, languages. My work interfaces with other related areas like digital humanities, corpus linguistics, distributional semantics, machine learning, data science, deep neural models, and general AI.

I am also the Lacuna Fund Technical Adviser on NLP as well as visiting Senior Lecturer at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria.
