I'm a longtime marketing analytics veteran whose been working in the field of big data before it was called "big data". I started doing business analysis using SAS back in the 1990s, then increasingly began using SQL at the start of the 2010s, and now am picking up Python.

Currently, I work in pharmaceuticals, but my analytics background encompasses many industries: consumer packaged goods (CPG), banking, retail, and direct marketing (CRM). I also teach IT courses to business students at Loyola University Chicago's Quinlan School of Business.

When I'm not crunching numbers, I am enjoying Chicago's Lyric Opera; traveling to a new location at least once a year; reading biographies of U.S. Presidents and books on various events in U.S. and world history; and cooking.
