Started out my IT career in Desktop Support. Moved my way up by working in the E-Learning department as an Application Administrator, and then moved into a Senior IT Applications Analyst position.

Moved onto another company taking a Software Developer position. Much of the skills used in that position were SQL, T-SQL, report writing using Crystal Reports, SSRS. Performed many conversions of Crystal Report reports to SSRS. Supported in house banking applications written in VB. Wrote a number of applications using C# and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Created an SSRS report that printed out employee badges that also included a QR code that when scanned took the user to a web application creating using .NET Razor that also interfaced with a SQL database to display employee certification information.

Since coming back to Ferris State University, I am responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the universities mobile app, Ferris GO. This includes Linux mobile integration servers. I am also the acting Microsoft SQL DBA for the university.

I have experience with the following languages: SQL, T-SQL, ColdFusion, PHP, .NET, VB, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, jQuery Mobile.

I enjoy performing work where the end goal is to streamline processes and reduce the amount of effort required by users to perform their tasks or job functions.
