I completed my PhD in Astrophysics from Arizona State University in December 2019. I am currently employed as a Postdoctoral Researcher at ASU and as a Residential Faculty as Chandler/Gilbert Community College. My past projects involved multi-spectral image processing with OpenCV and OpenCL, and circuit and firmware design for interactive perception devices. My current post-doc work focuses on radiative transfer modeling of ionizing light escaping from very distant galaxies using Hubble Space Telescope images and simulations. These models are very computationally intensive, and require the use of the HPC cluster "Agave" at ASU and the Open Science Grid network.
