In my work, I always adhere to most software development best practices. I make my code clean, modular and readable, follow PSR-2 code style, naming conventions and use automatic code quality checks. To keep my work organized I use task tracker tools (Jira, Trello, Asana or any other tool) and for the code versioning Github or Gitlab. When working in a team I'm used to collaborative development practices like code review, proper Git branching strategies, CI/CD process, usage of wiki-style team documentation.
