MarkLogic (enterprise database for XML) is a big part of my life. I load data to MarkLogic, query them and use MarkLogic tool (wizard) to generate REST services. Those REST services give access to MarkLogic data from any application regardless of language (Java, .NET, Perl, JavaScript/AJAX or almost any other).
