I work in the UK National Health Service. I have been a programmer all my professional life, since 1985, having worked in C, Pascal, Fortran, COBOL, 8088 assembler, Java, SQL, DataEase. Currently most of my programming is in Java, mostly on Android, but I still do some C.

I also have 15 years experience using Linux, Apache, Tomcat, MySQL.

My interests include photography, cycling, open-source mapping (with OSM), geocaching and playing the MMORPG Entropia Universe.
