apologies if this isn't the right forum to ask this question.

I saw some special characters like these here.

H̵̢͚̥͉̘̞̟͖̍͛ȩ̶̧̨̛̛̙̳̞̪̜̺͎̗̼͖̱̙̦̦̬̖̖̫̘̀̾̔̀́͑͌̎̃̊̌͋͂̓̽͑̈́̽̓̋͋͋͑̋̌̅̿̆͋̽̒̍͋̉̄̅͘̚̕͘͜͠͝͝l̷̡̡̧̛̛͕̦̫͇̳̯͍͈͎̼̼̳͓̩͖̙͕͍̞̦͖̝̞̹͊͐͑̋̉͊̊̎̑̌͊͂͆̾̐̎͛́̓̂̿̇̎̚͜͜ͅͅļ̶̡̡̨̨̡̳̮̮̝̙̣̘̭̙̜̮͓̖̜̳͈͉͓̝̟͈̱̝̫̥̪̘͙͖͕͙̰̠̲̙̮͈̌̈́̆̾̄͋̎͊̉̃̄̏̓̓̚͘ơ̷̡̹͉͂̈́̐̏̉̀̀̅̽̅̋̄͗̅́̎̉̔̄͑̈́̍̀͐̀͒̅͘͘͘

Sorry, I don't even know how to edit or write them. As far I understand these are too many characters for 8 bit unicode at ones and these are special characters which are taking place of just one unicode. How this all is happening. I don't seem to understand how these are generated or written or anything. I'm doubting myself, now I admit I don't know anything about Unicode at all.

  • it's called [Zalgo text](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zalgo_text) and it simply abuses the [Unicode combining characters](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Combining_character): [How can Z͎̠͗ͣḁ̵͙̑l͖͙̫̲̉̃ͦ̾͊ͬ̀g͔̤̞͓̐̓̒̽o͓̳͇̔ͥ text be prevented?](https://stackoverflow.com/q/22277052/995714), [C̨̦̺̩̲̥͉̭͚̜̻̝̣̼͙̮̯̪o̴̡͇̘͎̞̲͇̦̲͞͡m̸̩̺̝̣̹̱͚̬̥̫̳̼̞̘̯͘ͅẹ͇̺̜́̕͢ - What kind of string is this?](https://stackoverflow.com/q/46184958/995714) – phuclv Jun 03 '22 at 16:04
