Okay, I have written a simple guessing game for C++ and I have something that gets printed out a lot of times, with very little change. The something printed out is always of the same character length. I've tried doing
std::cout << redacted_word << '\r';
along with other variatons, where \r comes before redacted_word, but it just won't work. I get the same output:
Welcome to my guessing game!
Here's the redacted word. You have to put in a single letter to reveal one!
