Yes, I have tried following these answers: Global keyboard capture in C# application.

But after implementing every solution, when I press a key, it lags by about 0.5 seconds and the event handler does not seem to invoke. So I am asking this question again. How can I capture global key up/down events in .NET Core and Windows 11? I am collecting my personal keystrokes for my own use, not some dodgy app or something.

Or, can anyone validate that the solutions in the linked question still work for Windows 11 and thus, maybe I implemented them incorrectly?

I have a class for that: https://stackoverflow.com/a/71697368/18452174. It's very important that your code in the event be so fast or you get these lags. – Victor May 11 '22 at 12:10
  • "It lags" what lags? You haven't shown us any code? – Charlieface May 11 '22 at 16:17
