Right now, I'm presenting to clients a matplotlib graph where the x-axis is set by default. A lot of our customers have trouble reading the graph b/c the x-axis defaults are kind of random months that don't help them quickly determine seasonality. The need to basically know when the year started, and when was the halfway point.
How do I customize the x-axis to show just the labels I want?
Example of a graph where I'd like to change the x-axis label to just be Jan and July:
