I need to find a way to be able to tell whether the screen is currently on or has been dimmed due to inactivity. I've already implemented code to know when the system sleeps using SystemEvents.PowerModeChanged but I want to be able to tell when the screen has been turned off due to inactivity when the system is not asleep.
I saw some very old answers on SO that did this but I can't seem to get them to work on a Windows 10 system. Neither is the official MSDN documentation helpful in this regard.
