So, I'm trying to run the jar file on my MacBook terminal, but I keep on getting a JNI error. I've updated JRE to the latest edition, but that didn't solve it. Please let me know if you have this problem occurred and have a fix!

  • What does 'latest' mean to you? You are apparently running some update of Java version 8, which was first released in 2014 but was given extra extended support and is still updated just as frequently and recently as the 'long-term' major versions (currently 11 and 17) and the 'short-term' major version (currently 18). You need version 11 or _higher_ (which is not necessarily _newer_). – dave_thompson_085 Apr 27 '22 at 06:05
