I am working on a Java application and I am finding a problem related to performing operation between BigDecimal values.
First of all I have this method performing my calculation:

Then I created the following unit test in order to test the previous calculateAprFromApy() method behavior:

The problem is that running my unit test method it enters into my calculateAprFromApy() method but I obtain an exception on this line:
BigDecimal exponent = BigDecimal.ONE.divide(periodsBigDecimal);
Using the debugger I can see that at the moment of the execution of the preious line of code I have that the value of the periodsBigDecimal is 365 (as I expected because this is the value passed as integer parameter converted in BigDecimal).
It try to executed this divide() operation but the following exception is thrown:
