I am trying to implement a video recording application where i continuously record the video and for every n seconds i should upload the video and later i would like to play the uploaded parts one by one as a continuous video, currently i have done the part where i am able to stop the recording every n seconds using native AVfoundation and upload the files, but the issue is every time i stop the recording and start the recording back there is a 2 second gap in between, so nothing is recorded for that 2 seconds, so when i play back all the uploaded video its not continuous, is there anyway that i could tackle this issue by directly saving the video every n seconds without actually stopping the recording?

  • This answer of mine creates multiple fragmented mp4 files that have the property you want: https://stackoverflow.com/a/66829118/22147 The important part of the answer is that you _don't_ stop the recording as that would cause gaps. – Rhythmic Fistman Apr 22 '22 at 15:12
