I did everything from these answers on a previous thread and nothing changed. Even uninstalling Python did not improve the situation. Everything was working fine but all of a sudden it stopped working.

    Could not find platform independent libraries <prefix>
Could not find platform dependent libraries <exec_prefix>
Consider setting $PYTHONHOME to <prefix>[:<exec_prefix>]
