When executing a push or pop instruction when using MASM integrated with Visual Studio 2019 what is the total byte size of value that is being pushed or popped onto or off the stack ? Would it be a 64 bit value on a 64 bit processor and 32 bit value on a 32 bit processor ? Does it matter if the CPU is in compatibility mode or long mode as someone has said ?
Please correct my lack of understanding.
