I am trying to label layers of an svg file, similar to paint by number. I have not found a good pre-written script to do this. I can find the center of the bounding box, but need to find the center of the largest part of the path. Then, ultimately make sure no labels overlap each other. Here is the center of the bounding box, but I am looking for center of the path area:
