How do I docker-compose Kafka?

Question

I have this yml file

      KAFKA_ZOOKEEPER_CONNECT: zookeeper:2181
      KAFKA_ADVERTISED_LISTENERS: PLAINTEXT://kafka:9092,PLAINTEXT_HOST://localhost:29092
      KAFKA_LISTENER_SECURITY_PROTOCOL_MAP: PLAINTEXT:PLAINTEXT,PLAINTEXT_HOST:PLAINTEXT
      KAFKA_INTER_BROKER_LISTENER_NAME: PLAINTEXT
      KAFKA_OFFSETS_TOPIC_REPLICATION_FACTOR: 1

Then I run docker-compose up. It starts both. When I start the Spring Boot application locally I call this endpoint with Postman, localhost:8088/produce I have the message, but it gives a time out exception like this

org.apache.kafka.common.errors.TimeoutException: Topic my_topic not present in metadata after 60000 ms.
