Parse error: syntax error, unexpected single-quoted string "){ " in php file on line 228 (PHP)

Question

This is a pretty simple question to ask, so I wont go into much detail.

It flags up the error above when i make a variable with javascript text inside:

The opening is = $tetx = ".......

Line 228 is }";

Thats it!

I am not sure what the problem is! Help!
