Git: How to check current commit is pushed or not using commit hash?

I am working with python codes and using git-python to deals with a git repository.

I want to write the code acting differently if current commit is not pushed to remote!

Is it possible to check current commit is pushed to remote or not?

Or is there any way to know whether a single commit is pushed to remote or not using commit hash value?
