Merge two lists embedded in another one

I need to merge two lists, which are embedded in another one. The format is something like that:

list_of_lists = [ [{...}, {...}, ...], [{...}, {...}, ...] ]

The format i need:

list_ = [{...}, {...}, {...}, {...}, ...]

is there a more elegant way than:

    for list_ in list_of_lists:
        for data in list_:
            merged_data.append(data)
