I wanted to create a rounded form and I found this page, Creating Smooth Rounded Corners in WinForm Applications.

I used the accepted answer displayed full code and It works, but I found a problem, The text boxes and combo boxes stopped showing their text cursor / caret when I focus them or write in them, I already tried to solve this with other page but I can't find it anymore, I'm making this post as a last resort.

If anyone can help me solve this issue I'm very thankful.

That code generates a per-pixel-alpha layered Form (or, tries to). It leaks graphic resources as hell and also tries, in run-time mode, to draw a Bitmap of the full content of that Form every ~17 milliseconds, which is not feasible, BTW and completely unnecessary. I suggest you search for something else. If you just want to show a rounded Form, try this one: [How can I draw a rounded rectangle as the border for a rounded Form?](https://stackoverflow.com/a/56533229/7444103). It's quite simple to handle. – Jimi Feb 13 '22 at 22:27
