How can i create a "protocol link" for a vb.net application. I want to open my vb.net application when i click a link in chrome like myapp://path_to_file.
Is this possible?

It is the operating system (ie. windows) that chooses what happens when a user clicks a link with that protocol. You need to add a rule to the OS, in Windows it's done in the settings in section "Choose default apps by protocol". So you need to configure that on the users machine. – Esko Jan 21 '22 at 07:27
