I'm trying to replicate figures that were made in excel using R and GGplot. I've gotten most everything done so far, but I'm struggling to find a way to add a two level axis similar to what's seen in this figure (https://peltiertech.com/wp-content/img200804/DualCategoryAxis.png). If possible I'd also like to be able to sort by descending within each section.

I've seen examples where the two level part was a standard pattern, like 4 quarters in a year, but nothing on non standard groupings.

Any advice is greatly appreciated thanks!
