I'm working on a bitbucket/git repo that is used at the same time from both windows and linux. Sometimes this causes issues at pull request time, since if some text file is checked in from Windows, it will have crlf line endings, and if it is checked in from linux, it will have lf line endings.

Is it correct to say that, depending on who checked in last, the repo version might have either crlf or lf?

Is there an easy way to see that this is the only difference in a pull request?

Does this difference matter in the repo, if I set up git conf correctly in each environment?
