Maybe a library could help? I saw one solution here but its not what I am looking for because I need a simpler one to upload to a dockerized server Get the number of pages in a PDF document

  • Consider something like the LEADTOOLS JavaScript Document toolkit (Disclaimer: I am an employee of the vendor). It has a DocumentFactory object which can use the URL with its [loadFromUri](https://www.leadtools.com/help/sdk/v22/dh/javascript/dox/documentfactory-loadfromuri.html#Example) method configured to initialize a [LEADDocument](https://www.leadtools.com/help/sdk/v22/dh/javascript/dox/leaddocument.html) object with minimal options, which then provides information about the pages and sizes of the document. – Hussam Barouqa Dec 02 '21 at 15:30
