Device error: adb.exe: device unauthorized. This adb server's $ADB_VENDOR_KEYS is not set Try 'adb kill-server' if that seems wrong. Otherwise check for a confirmation dialog on your device.

This is the error that is popping up when i run the emulator. The emulator loads up and even the screen is on. The applications is seems not to be connecting to the emulator too

  • Have you run the emulator well before? If you use it at first time, you should check the set up of the emulator first. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/xamarin/android/get-started/installation/android-emulator/device-manager?tabs=windows&pivots=windows – Wendy Zang - MSFT Nov 16 '21 at 08:58

  • Go to the developer options on the phone and click Revoke USB debugging authorization.
  • Restart ADB Server with

adb kill-server
adb start-server

  • Why "Revoke USB debugging authorization"? (I'm trying to think of a situation where that is necessary.) Also, the question is about EMULATOR; are you saying this needs to be done within the EMULATED PHONE? – ToolmakerSteve Nov 17 '21 at 04:02

Android emulators have by default "Usb Debugging" in settings. You just need to wipe the data of the emulator or Click on Wipe Data option from avd Actions menu. – pooja nair Nov 17 '21 at 08:01
