I have a scenarios where the scripts that I have to run are supported only on chrome driver 78, but the chrome is always getting update to the latest update. And the chrome driver 78 is not supported with chrome version 94.

We have tried few solutions to stop the google chrom update:-

  1. deleting googleupdate application from update folder.
  2. disbaling google updates from the services.
  3. disabling the google updates from the task scheduler.

After doing this also, the updates are happening inconsistently.

We want to stop the google chrome update permanently for the windows machine.

Kindly help to find a permanent solution for this.
