I developed an android application and released it to the users (not via Google Play Store). Now, for business reasons and changed requirement, I had to change the app name and package name in the newer version. As a result, there are two separate installations for the same app. How can I uninstall the older version of this app while installing new version and make sure that the user has only one app which is the latest version?
