Blocking out long portions of my java code which includes multi-line comments such as is done in C using #if 0 ... #endif

Question

In C I've grown used to commenting out parts of my program using #if 0 ... #endif (ie, the preprocessor). I would like to be able to do the same thing in java. However, since there is not a preprocessor I don't see any easy way to do this.
