"unpack" a pandas Series duplicating other values of the DataFrame

Question

I have a DataFrame like this:

    one         two
0  home  car,flower
1  tree        fish

and I'd like to convert it like so:

    one     two
0  home     car
1  home  flower
2  tree    fish

See on row 0, the second column has 2 items which got translated to 2 rows with the other cell's value cloned.

I'm looking at map() and apply() right now but I can't quite get it to do the result I'm looking for.
