I have a system with a single GPU with a CPU that does not have integrated graphics.
The problem that I face is that my screen freezes when I train my models on GPU.
Is there anyway I can allocate separate memory to use for training models or is there any other solution to this problem?

  • CPU : Ryzen 9 3900x
  • GPU : Nvidia RTX 2080Ti
  • OS : Ubuntu 20.04
    Other
  • Jupyterlab
  • Scipy, XGBoost, GridSearchCV
