Getting satellite assemblies reference build error after trying all the steps in the below link , any suggestions or ideas are welcome !

Could not load file or assembly ... The parameter is incorrect

Error log: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio..\Bin\Microsoft.Common.CurrentVersion.targets : error : Could not find satellite assemblies for reference "C:\SolutionName\ProjectName\filename.dll". The parameter is incorrect

Steps taken to mitigate this issue:

  1. Re-installing Visual studio
  2. ran this cmd to check registry sfc /scannow (all fine)
  3. Cleared all my temp files and restarted my PC

None have solved my issue.

  • Did you use satellite assemblies in your project? Please try to set the `Copy Local` property to `True` and rebuild your project(click the referenced satellite assembly and in Properties window find `Copy Local` and set to `True`). If this doesn’t work, please share more information about what you did, before this error appeared, with us. – Tianyu Aug 11 '21 at 05:27
