I have a website behind cloud front.
In cloud front we use CachingOptimized policy with:
Minimum TTL (seconds) - 1
Maximum TTL (seconds) - 31536000
Default TTL (seconds) - 86400
In S3 object I pass cache-control: s-maxage=86400,max-age=0
Looking on aws documentation in this case cloud front should cache for 24H and the browser shouldn't cache at all.
Chrome browser ignores it. I found this. But in my case chrome only goes to origin after a total close of all windows. Opening the page in a new tab or a new windows does not help. In Cognito it does revalidate the content
I checked and "Clear cookies and site data when you close all windows" is not enabled in my browser.
What am I missing?
