I am looking to execute a script when a button is clicked in my popup.html that will simply just get the text in 2 elements on the current webpage. I have tried a bunch of tutorials and videos and none seem to do what I need them to do, or they just don't work. Could someone please point me in the right direction or at least to a tutorial or GitHub repo with code for something similar to what I describe? thank you.
