Unfortunately, I have pushed my .env file to Github and then deleted it, but it is still appearing in the commit history. How to resolve this problem.

    These credentials have been exposed publicly if the repository is public. In this case, they need to be revoked and regenerated as soon as possible. Just removing the commits from the Git history after the fact is not sufficient. Everyone that had access in between might have copied the env-file. – Matt Jul 18 '21 at 07:34
