How to print a white space at the start of the string

i want to add a space before "Enter Url : "

For display output you could precede the string with a printable character plus a back-space; the latter can be retrieved by `for /F %%B in ('prompt $H$_^& for %%Z in ^(.^) do rem/') do set "_BS=%%B"` (I hope)… – aschipfl Jul 13 '21 at 15:47
Instead of BS, ESC x is also effective for Win Console : `set /p url="^[x Enter:"`. (Alt+027 to produce the ESC character) – Zilog80 Jul 13 '21 at 15:54
